THE ORIGINS OF OUR DREAM

It all began in the Alentejo, near the Spanish border.

In 1961, in a small 50 sq m warehouse in the town of Campo Maior, Rui Nabeiro started his business by roasting 30 kilos of coffee each day.

And this is how the best-known Portuguese coffee brand, Delta Cafés, was created.

Twenty years later the largest coffee roasting plant on the Iberian Peninsula was opened, and during the following decades, with the company’s sustained growth, the many companies that now make up the Nabeiro Group are coming to the fore.
